Mobility For All – Subsidized Rides

The Mobility For All (MFA) program is intended for people with low-income and who have limited or no access to transportation. This service is available in Washington County and 3 towns in Orange County (Orange, Washington, and Williamstown) Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If given enough notice, there is the potential to accommodate service outside of these hours. Rides typically start in our service area but may go outside of it if needed for appointments.

You are eligible for subsidized rides through the Mobility For All program if:

  • You are not a current Green Mountain Transit (GMT) customer or are not eligible for GMT’s existing programs, to include Elderly & Disabled, Recovery and Job Access, and Medicaid transportation.
  • The trip type is not covered by one of those programs or a trip request is denied by GMT.
  • You do not live on or near (within ¾ mile ‘as the crow flies’ of) a bus route OR the bus does not go where you need to go or, when you need to get there.

There are currently no rider fares for Mobility For All trips. This may be subject to change.
