Meet Gopher, Community Rides Vermont’s transportation service, operating primarily in Washington County and neighboring towns in Orange County. Trained drivers provide safe and comfortable door-to-door trips in a fleet of zero-emissions electric SUVs. We take people to work, school, social and recreational activities, shopping and appointments. Our flexible schedule and unique service model enable Gopher to serve those in harder to reach places, and at times of the day when it may be difficult to find a ride.

Gopher seeks to expand transportation opportunities in our service area with our three (3) programs – discounted subsidized rides*, fee-based market rate rides, and contracted rides.
